Where to Include Them?
- Limited experience? Add to your “Relevant Experience” or “Academic Experience” section
- Extensive or notable work? Create a separate “Publications” and/or “Presentations” section.
What to include in listing Presentations (Poster or Oral)
- Authors (list all)
- Full Title (official & complete)
- Presentation Type (e.g., oral, poster)
- Event Name & Location
- Date (Month, Year)
- Awards or Special Recognition (if applicable)
Example:
Smith, J., & Lee, A. “Renewable Energy Adoption in Urban Areas.” Oral Presentation, Undergraduate Research Day, Pennsylvania State Capitol, April 2024. (Best Presentation Award, Pitt Honors College)
How to List Publications
- Full Citation (if published) – Use discipline-specific format (APA, MLA, etc.)
- If in press – Journal & expected publication date
- If submitted for review – Journal & submission date
- If in preparation – Mention but keep updated
Example:
Doe, J., & Nguyen, M. “AI-Assisted Agriculture: A Meta-Analysis.” Journal of Sustainable Tech. (Submitted, March 2024)
