Responsibilities of the Student Social Media/Marketing Intern include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate, post, and manage all social media channels creating content in coordination with staff from the University Club, Conference Services and Chartwells.
  • Create and implement enticing social media campaigns to draw the target markets of faculty, staff, alumni, local community and Pitt students to the University Club
  • Edit posts using Canva and posting/scheduling them at optimal times
  • Drive engagement on social media through comments, responding to comments, and liking posts/stories.

Qualifications:

Student must be a Pitt School of Business Student with a major in marketing.

Student must have significant experience across social media platforms and familiarity with posting. Candidate must have an interest driving engagement and following for newer social media accounts. Candidate should have excellent writing skills and be able to manage content and plan specific and timely marketing campaigns based on deadlines.

Must be able to work a minimum of 10 hours per week. In-office presence will be dependent on content needed weekly.
