The Role
This full-time, entry-level position is ideal for college students or recent graduates with exceptional Excel skills and a keen interest in data analysis. You will have the flexibility to work mostly virtually, with some required office days for team collaboration and operational meetings. You will be responsible for various operational tasks, including extensive inventory management and data reporting, making this role suitable for someone detail-oriented and driven to enhance our e-commerce operations through data insights and meticulous execution.
What You’ll Do
- Optimize for Growth: Enhance product listings (titles, images, keywords) to maximize SEO and sales across Amazon, Etsy, TikTok Shop, and our website.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Use advanced Excel skills (including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data reporting techniques) to analyze sales and traffic data, identify trends, and present actionable insights for strategic decisions.
- Operational Efficiency: Support inventory management by tracking stock levels, creating FBA shipments, and coordinating with third-party fulfillment partners to ensure seamless operations.
- Inventory Management: Regularly monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring that stock is accurately reflected across all platforms and preventing stockouts or overstock situations.
- Drive Ad Results: Help plan and optimize paid advertising campaigns (PPC, sponsored products, and social ads) based on data performance and trends.
- Support Product Launches: Assist in preparing new product listings, performing keyword research, and developing merchandising strategies to ensure successful launches.
- Enhance Customer Experience: Monitor customer feedback and reviews to propose improvements for the customer journey.
- Policy Management: Stay informed about e-commerce platform policies and troubleshoot listing or account issues swiftly.
- Special Projects: Participate in various operational or marketing tasks as assigned, ensuring smooth execution of initiatives.
What You Bring
- A recent degree or relevant college coursework in e-commerce, business, operations, or a related field is desired.
- Very strong Excel skills are required, with proficiency in data analysis, reporting capabilities, and familiarity with inventory management systems.
- A self-starter attitude with a willingness to learn quickly and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a strong capability to notice and act on operational discrepancies and opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A team-first perspective, eager to handle backend and operational tasks with enthusiasm.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience or coursework involving e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Etsy, or TikTok Shop is a plus.
- Knowledge of image editing tools (e.g., Photoshop) or basic graphic design skills.
