Construction Manager (Fiber Telecommunications)
Location: Issaquah, Washington
Term: 2 Years
Salary: $30 to $38 Per Hour
We are seeking 2 candidates who will act as representatives during construction to ensure construction companies comply with permit requirements, engineering standards, and public safety throughout the project.
Primary Responsibilities
The inspector will be responsible for:
- Reviewing fiber construction drawings before work begins.
- Reviewing potholing plans and reports.
- Reviewing sewer and storm drain inspection videos to ensure no damage from drilling.
- Reviewing Right-of-Way (ROW) permits and ensuring contractor compliance.
- Reviewing Traffic Control Plans (TCPs).
- Performing field inspections during:
- Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD)
- Roadway restoration
- Verifying:
- Proper backfill
- Compaction requirements
- Traffic control implementation
- Coordinating with:
- Construction crews
- City inspectors
- Residents when necessary
- Preparing daily/inspection reports and weekly construction reports.
