Skillify Philosophies
- Outcomes: We care about outcomes. That is our overarching philosophy that guides most of our decisions from big to small. When bringing new team members on board, we look for high-performing, ambitious, passionate, and empathetic players who care about delivering excellent outcomes with the work they do and for the people around them. We believe these characteristics ultimately result in the best outcomes.
- Iterative Process & Feedback: As you will quickly realize within Skillify, when caring about outcomes, there ends up being a consistent cycle of feedback and rapid change. This iterative process is something we embrace. Nothing is set in stone, from curriculum to customers to compensation structure. We value your input, feedback and trust you to have smart insights and creative ideas that will result in better outcomes.
- Extreme Ownership & Relentless Growth: We operate with a mindset of extreme ownership—if something isn’t working, we don’t pass blame, we fix it. We expect every team member to take full responsibility for their impact, constantly reflect on their performance, and seek brutal honesty about where they can improve. Growth at Skillify isn’t comfortable—it’s fast, direct, and requires real self-awareness. The best players don’t wait for feedback; they actively seek it, analyze their own blind spots, and course-correct without ego. If you’re not obsessed with getting better every day, this isn’t the place for you.
- Fun: We want to find great alignment in what you find fun and what you’re passionate about working on. We care deeply about our team members enjoying what they do. We hope this role feels like a dream job for you.
