Are you looking for a rewarding and hands-on experience working with individuals of all ages with disabilities? As a Camp Counselor at Recreation Unlimited, you’ll play a vital role in creating a fun, inclusive, and safe camp experience for our campers!
What You’ll Do:✔ Provide physical, social, emotional, and recreational support to campers.
✔ Assist with personal care needs (dressing, feeding, bathing, toileting) based on individual camper needs.
✔ Actively participate in and adapt activities to ensure all campers are included and engaged.
✔ Ensure camper safety, well-being, and enjoyment throughout the camp session.
✔ Collaborate with fellow counselors and staff to create an unforgettable experience for campers.
What We’re Looking For:✔ 18+ for both residential and day camp positions.
✔ Passion for working with individuals with physical and/or developmental disabilities.
✔ Strong interpersonal skills, decision-making abilities, and a positive attitude.
✔ Ability to work long hours while staying energetic, adaptable, and patient.
✔ Successful completion of pre-camp training.
