Would you like to be a part of our caring team? We are seeking a Licensed Therapist to work at our Fayette County Medical Center office. In this role, you would provide social work services including assessment, intervention and education to meet the psychosocial needs of patients of any age and their families. You will also identify and provide therapeutic interventions necessary to meet holistic needs, or make appropriate referrals.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides clinical psychological services in the assessment and treatment of patients.
  • Provides counseling and intensive case management services to patients and their families using a combination of individual, family and group work.
  • Provides psychosocial assessment of patients according to identified needs.
  • Works with a multidisciplinary team in preparing and implementing treatment and discharge plans.
  • Utilizes effective communication skills through interpersonal approach with patient, family and other members of the health care team while respecting individual differences.
  • Reports information accurately concisely and in a timely manner to facilitate treatment and provision of services.

Essential Skills: The skills that will ensure success include, but are not limited to superior diagnostic and therapeutic intervention, broad knowledge of the DSM and therapeutic techniques, adherence to the Code of Ethical Principles and confidentiality requirements of HIPAA.

Qualifications:

Education Required: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)

Experience Preferred: At least one year of direct clinical experience in a mental health setting.

Job Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt

Pay: $55,000.00 – $79,505.00 per year
