The ideal candidate for this role will have electro/mechanical assembly experience for large scale projects with build lengths of 8-12 weeks per unit, and experience with PLC programming.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Manufacturing Technician to join our team. The technical services group is responsible for the assembly, integration, testing, installation, maintenance, training and support of the Avonix industrial x-ray imaging systems. Area of responsibilities are divided into levels. Levels 1, 2, and 3 primarily focus on factory production.
Responsibilities
Will include, but not limited to the following:
- Assembly of mechanical and electrical subcomponents
- Cable installation, routing and terminations
- Electrical wiring, connections and terminations
- Integration of subcomponents
- Machine build
- Quality inspections
- Basic machine startup and trouble shooting
- PLC program loading, testing and trouble shooting
- Other duties as assigned
Skills

- Basic knowledge of general electrical assembly and circuits
- Average computer skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with Avonix employees, customers and management in a professional manner

- Good mechanical and electrical aptitude with a strong desire to learn and succeed
- Minimum two years’ experience in related assembly or machine build technology
