Fall Fairs and Prep Events

The Fall Career & Internship Fair is a must-attend event for any students seeking internships, jobs and other opportunities, from September 15-17.  The Career Center wants to help you feel prepared, so make a game plan for taking advantage of the events and resources below!

RESUME REVIEWS

Plan to bring some printed copies of your latest resume to the fair.  Upload your best resume to your Handshake profile so employers can see your resume after you check into their booths. Must bring printed copy of resume to all in-person review events!

  • Tech Resume Reviews – Tuesday, September 8, 11 a.m.-3 p.m., WPU Lower Lounge
    • For all students interested in tech-related roles
    • Participating employers: Aerotech, CGI, Deloitte, Dick’s Sporting Goods, EQT, Federated Hermes, Motional, NetApp, PPG, SoftWriters, triple, UPMC
  • Engineering Resume Reviews – Wednesday, September 9, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Benedum Hall Ground Floor, near Bevier Library
    • For all SSOE Engineering students

  • ResuMANIA – Thursday, September 10, 11 a.m.-7 p.m., 200 WPU

DRESS FOR SUCCESS

The fair dress code is “Dress for Success.” You will want to present your best self and feel confident in your choice of attire.  Business and Business casual attire welcome.

  • The Virtual Career Closet is open and stylists are online, ready to help you choose rental attire for your fair look. Confirm orders with stylist by September 7 to ensure pre-fair delivery. To request a complimentary voucher for this semester, please email careers@pitt.edu. Supply is limited.
  • Dress for Success Mobile Women’s Wardrobe Event, Tuesday, September 8, 12-2:30 p.m., WPU Kurtzman Room – Register here!
  • JCPenney SuitUp, Sunday, September 13, 3-6 p.m., The Mall at Robinson – Get up to 45% off!
  • Take advantage of the Coat & Bag Check on the main floor to peel off extra layers before meeting with recruiters.
  • Looking your best?  Remember to stop by the LinkedIn photo booth during the fairs to get a new pic for your profile.
