The Spring Career & Internship Fair is a must-attend event for any students & alumni seeking internships, jobs and other opportunities. The Career Center wants to help you feel prepared, so make a game plan for taking advantage of the events and resources below!

Be sure to bring printed copies of your updated resume to the fair like ROC! To ensure your resume stands out, take advantage of the many opportunities to have it reviewed and polished before the Fair!

RESUME REVIEW EVENTS WITH EMPLOYERS:

  • Tech Students: Tuesday, February 10, 11 a.m.-3 p.m., Lower Lounge, William Pitt Union. 
  • Engineering Students: Wednesday, February 11, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Benedum Hall Ground Level.
  • Resumania (All Students): Thursday, February 12, 11 a.m.-7 p.m., 224 William Pitt Union. Get feedback from employers and enjoy snacks throughout the day!

Career Center Drop-Ins: Available weekdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in 200 William Pitt Union.

The Career Fair dress code is “Dress to Impress” You will want to present your best self and feel confident in your choice of attire!

Virtual Career Closet:

Rent your ideal professional look in advance. Schedule a stylist appointment and select up to 6 pieces that you can rent for 30 days. The Virtual Career Closet enables students to have access to designer brands, modern styles, and all sizes. Shipping takes time, so try to order your fair look by February 9.  Learn more here.

Dress for Success Mobile Women’s Wardrobe Event:

On Thursday, February 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Dress for Success, an organization dedicated to empowering women through professional attire and career support, will bring a mobile wardrobe directly to you. Students can select interview-ready outfits, including tops and bottoms, shoes, and accessories, with guidance from their experienced team at no cost. Walk-ins are welcome, but registration is preferred and increases the chances of finding something in your size. RSVP to this event here and complete the registration form before February 9!

DURING THE FAIR: 

Coat & Bag Check: Take advantage of the Coat & Bag Check on the main floor to peel off extra layers before meeting with recruiters. 
LinkedIn Photo Booth: Looking your best? Remember to stop by the LinkedIn photo booth during the fairs to get a new pic for your profile.
Drop-ins during the Fair: Virtual staff will be available for questions or last-minute resume reviews via drop-in during fair hours. Come to the Career Center with your laptop to check in and be ready to share any documents for review digitally.

Post Fair Dos, Don’ts & Donuts! – Power Hours on Friday, February 20, 10 a.m.–Noon in 224 William Pitt Union is YOUR exploration lab to ask questions and work on anything from the Career Fair with Career Center staff. Bring your questions and enjoy donuts while you send thank-you emails to employers you met, connect on LinkedIn, apply to positions you discovered, and prepare for interviews by practicing or drafting questions. with Dunkin Donuts!
