An increasing number of students have been choosing to take a gap year between undergrad and post-graduate education.
Each year, between 40,000 and 60,000 students choose to take a gap year, or a year away from education, with the intent to return. With graduate school enrollment rising in the past decade, many of these gap years are taken by new college graduates.
During the time away from school, students often choose to work, travel and reflect on their future in education. After completing a gap year, 95% of those students reported feeling “better prepared” for the future…
