Empowering Students | Creating Growth Beyond the Classroom | Supporting Learning Opportunities | Fostering Holistic Academic and Professional Growth | Promoting a Vision for the Future

Do you have an unpaid experiential learning opportunity coming up soon?

The Career Center’s Experiential Learning Schratz Fund opens doors to diverse opportunities for student growth! We offer financial support for a wide range of unpaid experiences, including internships, research, community service, and volunteering. Invest in your future and learn how the fund can empower you.

The objectives:

  • Enhance Student Learning
By facilitating hands-on experiences, we aim to bridge the gap between theory and practice, allowing students to apply their classroom knowledge in real-world situations. This deepens their understanding of academic concepts and cultivates essential skills, making them more adept and confident as they enter the professional sphere.
  • Increase Access
A critical goal of the fund is to break down financial barriers that might impede students’ access to transformative experiences. By providing financial support, we aspire to ensure that every student, regardless of their economic background, can partake in internships, research projects, and community service initiatives.
  • Belonging
The Experiential Learning Fund seeks to actively encourage students from all backgrounds to explore a diverse array of experiences. Doing so enriches the student’s learning journey and contributes to a more inclusive and vibrant learning environment.
  • Foster Community Engagement
Beyond individual growth, the fund is designed to encourage a sense of social responsibility and community engagement. We aim to support initiatives that benefit local communities, encouraging students to contribute to societal well-being actively.
