Pitt Law Student of Color Visitation Day 2023
This event invites recently admitted and prospective students who identify as persons of color to join them for an afternoon showcasing the high-quality JD program available at Pitt Law!
Students will have the opportunity to:
- Tour the Barco Law Building
- Participate in a Mock Class
- Hear from current Students of Color
- Engage in a Q&A with the Vice Dean, Admissions and Financial Aid Office, Dean of Students, and Professional Development Office.

McGuireWoods-Kaplan LSAT Scholarship
Students are also encouraged to apply for the McGuireWoods-Kaplan LSAT Prep Scholarship:
Current undergraduates are encouraged to apply for the 2nd annual McGuireWoods – Kaplan LSAT Prep Scholarship, which provides access to a suite of online resources to help with individualized preparation for the La School Admission Test (LSAT). The scholarship recipient will be announced during the Student of Color Visitation Day.

Complete the application (including submitting your college transcript with current GPA, one letter of recommendation, and a 250-word essay discussing how LSAT prep support would be meaningful to your future goals) by November 9, 2023
